Meetings usually take place monthly, on the first Monday of each month with the exception of bank holidays. The parish council does not meet in August or January. Meetings take place at 7.30 pm in the meeting room of Biggin Village Hall on Drury Lane, Biggin. The meeting dates may be subject to change for a variety of reasons; therefore, please see the publicised agenda for each meeting for confirmation.
Attendance at Meetings
Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of Hartington Nether Quarter Parish Council. A ten minute public speaking section takes place near the beginning of each meeting during which members of the public are allowed to speak following the guidance contained in a document available at the beginning of each meeting. Members of the public can remain in the meeting after this time but can no longer make representations.
Annual Meetings
The annual meeting of the parish council takes place in May. The parish annual meeting also takes place in May.
Agendas will be posted on the website and on the noticeboard near Biggin Village Hall, Drury Lane, Biggin before each meeting.
The minutes of each parish council meeting remain ‘draft’ until approved at the subsequent meeting. The minutes should not be copied/reproduced or extracts taken without the permission of the Hartington Nether Quarter Parish Council.
