26.9.1 Apologies and attendance register
Apologies had been received in advance from Ms S Rogers. Other members completed the attendance register.

26.9.2 Minutes of the previous meeting
Resolved: To accept the previous minutes as a true record of proceedings. These were duly signed by Chair Person, Mrs D Currington noting that the Mr Fletcher was to speak to the couple who had sought assistance from the parish council regarding housing. The future meeting date within the minutes referred to the October meeting. But it was noted that the correct date appeared on the publicised agenda on the noticeboard and on the website.

26.9.3 Matters arising and pre-meeting
Tree surgery works had taken place and members were very satisfied by the outcome. Mr and Mrs Lovatt had attended to nettles and vegetation around the stile in the vicinity of the Waterloo Inn. Other items were covered by the agenda.

26.9.4 Public Speaking Procedures Document
The document was available in the meeting.

26.9.6 District Councillor
The District Councillor was not in attendance.

26.9.7 Update on affordable homes
The clerk had again liaised with the officer at Derbyshire Dales District Council (DDDC) and an update had been received. The officer has made verbal contact about the properties. The officer is trying to move things along and obtain confirmation that 2 people interested in the properties meet the Peak Park criteria and also that they have followed the S106 clauses relating to valuation of the properties and advertising in the local parishes. He has also emailed an officer at Peak Park planning to get an update from him.

He confirmed that council tax is now being charged on the properties and that this is clearly adding some urgency to the process.

26.9.8 Heathcote Mere and other works
There was no further update on works. Mr Fletcher had slightly altered the position of the large stone on the front of the mere yet vehicles are still parking there.

Resolved: Mr Heathcote to chase works at Heathcote Mere.

26.9.10 Tree preservation order
There was no further update from Peak District National Park Authority (PDNPA) regarding this. The clerk had chased the matter again.

26.9.10 Planters
Mrs Lovatt reported that the planted had been made and members discussed the most appropriate place adjacent to the noticeboard.

Resolved: Mr Fletcher to supply soil to fill the planter and Mrs Currington to purchase a single rose.

26.9.11 Remembrance Day
The clerk had contacted the vicar regarding arrangements for a service in the village hall at Biggin for Remembrance Day.

Resolved: Mrs Currington to approach the bugle player for the Remembrance Day service.

26.9.12 Update from church meeting
The clerk had contacted the vicar for an update on non-confidential information resulting from the recent church meetings. It was reported that a committee has been formed and hope for more people to attend services in the village hall.

26.9.13 Planning applications, planning sub-committee, appeals and enforcement
The clerk had submitted comments and concerns from members regarding an investigation into a byway open to all traffic from Pikehall to Cobblersnook and Cardlemere Lane, Cobblersnook Lane and Minninglow Lane. This had been acknowledged.
